:
(1) In order to maintain uniformity in the measurement maps made from time to time in accordance with the Act and this regulation and to investigate the prepared measurement maps and give necessary suggestions and instructions to the relevant agencies or to coordinate between such agencies, there will be a measurement map committee as follows:-
(a) Secretary, Ministry of Land Reforms and Administration – Chairman
(b) Representative (Rep. First Class), Ministry of Law, and Justice – Member
(c) Representative (R.P. First Class), Ministry of Defense – Member
(d) Representative (Rep. First Class), Ministry of Home Affairs – Member
(e) Representative (R.P. First Class), Ministry of Finance – Member
(f) Representative (R.P. First Class), Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Member
(g) Tribhuvan University, Geography Teaching Committee Head – Member
(h) One expert in the relevant subject designated by the Ministry of Land Reforms and Management - Member (i) Director General – Member – Secretary
(2) The term of office of the member designated as per clause (h) of sub-rule (1) shall be two years.
(3) The chairman may invite experts in related subjects as observers to the meeting of the committee as per sub-rule (1).
(4) In order to assist in the performance of the work of the committee as per sub-rule (1), the committee may form a technical sub-committee as required.
(5) The committee according to sub-rule (1) can organize its own procedures.
